Feel Your Feelings
When was the last time you stuffed a feeling down? You were angry, and you stuffed it down? You were sad, and you stuffed it down? You were excited, and you stuffed it down?
Feeling are not meant to be held. They are meant to be felt. When you feel them they move, they clear. When you don’t create potholes, mud and quicksand. You may not even notice that you’re having a hard time getting your stuff done, a hard time focusing, a hard time sticking to your routine.
Not allowing your feelings to come up, be felt and move on is plays a big role in the behavior we try to avoid.
I had a struggle this week with just that. I did not allow space for my feelings and it bit me in the ass. I made a little video about it.
